September 20, 2024: Since August 22, 2023, Calaveras2024Election.com continues to investigate and publicly report on the legal type and legal status of the Calaveras Visitors Bureau, and the fraudulent misrepresentation, fiscal mismanagement, negligence of public safety and conflicts of interest by its Executive Director, Martin Huberty, who is also Calaveras County District 3 Supervisor.
Additionally, why is the Calaveras County District Attorney allegedly ignoring formally submitted complaints for investigation into the operations of the Calaveras Visitors Bureau, as well as other formally submitted complaints of Calaveras County government corruption levied against the Board of Supervisors?
As can be seen from the following video below, titled "County Supervisors and DA Barbara Yook Ignore Evidence of Calaveras Visitors Bureau Corruption," allegations of quid pro quo corruption can be made against the Calaveras County District Attorney.
Mounting evidence reveals the District Attorney's office is blatantly and transparently ignoring formal complaints and accusations of corruption previously submitted, and made in her very presence - and on the record - as she appears to prioritize the assurance of the design, construction and completion of her new office complex over requests to investigate endemic government corruption within the local legislative and administrative body that holds the purse strings for her new office complex.
This is unacceptable behavior from the Calaveras Visitors Bureau and the Calaveras County District Attorney.
Why has the Calaveras County District Attorney not launched an investigation into the Calaveras County Visitors Bureau?
Negligence to investigate public corruption?
Conflicts of interest?
Quid pro quo corruption?
Note: At 12:58 of this video, the speaker accidentally cited Huberty's 2020 campaign for District 3 Supervisor, when the correct year of that campaign was actually 2022.
